Annual Membership Fee
There is a nonrefundable $60 ($75 for competitive team members) annual membership fee for each year your child is enrolled at HITS. We offer a family rate of $120 ($150 for competitive team members) per year for our recreational students. Billing statements for Membership renewals will be mailed in the month prior to the anniversary date.
To ensure you are not charged tuition for the month, you must provide a formalized written notice to discontinue classes. A parent or guardian wishing to withdraw a student must complete either an official HITS Withdraw Form, available at the Front Desk, or mail/email a formal letter requesting withdrawal. All official notices of withdrawal must be received by the 1st of the month. Notice provided after the 1st of the month will require a full month of paid tuition as a spot for the child has been held.
Do you want to switch to another class time or day? Please check with the office to see if there is a comparable class that is open. Limited transfers are allowed during each quarter session.
Combining Classes Policy
Due to unforeseen circumstances, classes of similar levels may be combined.
Hawaiian Island Twisters, its instructors and staff, will not and cannot be responsible for administering or storing medication of any type, prescribed or not. If medication is necessary, it should be given by the parent. Additionally HITS will not be responsible for monitoring the student for adverse reactions.
Supervision Before/After Class
Parents are responsible for their children before and after class. If you will be late to pick up your child for an unexpected reason, please call the gym at 839-4494 to let the HITS staff know you are running late. Coaches will not be able to supervise your child after class.
The bathroom facilities are located on the opposite side of the Ranch 99 food court next to Sushi Man. PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOUR CHILD HAS HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO USE THE BATHROOM PRIOR TO CLASS. Coaches cannot stop their instruction nor escort students to the restroom at any time. Any student who needs to use the restroom will be referred to their parents, who will be responsible for escorting their child to the restroom. Gymnasts should be properly dressed when going to the restroom facilities. For example, girls should wear shorts over their leotards, and all gymnasts should wear shoes.
