NEXT TESTING PERIOD:  MONDAY, February 27 through SUNDAY, March 12

CERTIFICATES DISTRIBUTED:  MONDAY, March 20 through SUNDAY, March 26

EVALUATION PERIOD: HOW DOES IT WORK?

Each quarter HITS conducts an evaluation (testing) period for all students in our recreational program.

The following levels are evaluated during this period:

  • GIRLS:  Mini-Bounders, Bounders, Mini-Flyers, Flyers, Mini-Flip Flops, Flip Flops, Hurdlers, Aerials
  • BOYS:  Mini-Bounders, Bounders, Flip Flops, Aerials

The evaluations will be held over the course of a two-week period in regularly scheduled classes.

  • What do I do if my child misses one or both days of testing?  We always encourage parents and coaches to discuss the progress of the student.  If your child should miss the evaluation period, we will ask coaches to make an assessment on your child's progress despite missing the testing period.  Please understand that progress and the ability to access it rely heavily on the child's regular attendance.

Certificates will be completed by the assigned coach and will be distributed in the week prior to the Session Break.

  • What do I do if my child has been promoted?  Please bring the student's certificate to the Front Desk at the end of class to arrange a new class day and time for the new level or call the gym as soon as you are able to schedule these changes.
  • What do I do if my child is to remain in the same level?  If you do not wish to make changes to your class day and time, no need to do anything.  Your child will automatically remain enrolled in their previous class day and time.  If you need to make schedule adjustments to accommodate your ever-evolving schedule, please call or stop at the Front Desk to inquire about availability.
