Coaching Staff

	Executive Director Joe Rapp Head Coach of the girls optional team Joe is the gym founder and its Executive Director and has 32 years coaching experience. He oversees all competitive programs, is a USAG professional member and has been safety certified.
	Jamey Gossett Assistant Head Coach of the girls optional team Jamey competed as an elite gymnast for 4 years. He has been coaching gymnastics for 16 years and also has been a USA Gymnastics professional member for 14 years. Besides coaching the optional team. He is a USAG professional member and is safety certified.
	Lori Yee Compulsory Team + Level 7 Head Coach Lori is a USAG professional member, is safety certified and is a certified judge.
	Anne McCauley Assistant Compulsory Team Coach. Anne has been coaching since 1996. She started coaching at Hickam Gymnastics where she competed. She also competed at Broadneck Gymnastics in Maryland. She has a AA degree in early childhood education.
	Walter Hitchcock Boys Program Director & Head Coach Walter is the boys team head coach and has 22 years coaching experience. He is safety certified.

	Sheena Masaki Recreational Coach
	Joel Shugart Recreational and Cheerleading Coach Joel has over 13 years coaching experience, is certified to teach kindergarten through 9th grades and is currently teaching 3rd grade at Kapolei Elem School. He was a cheerleader for the University of Northern Iowa for 5 years. Joel is a certified judge and Vice-president of the Hawaii State Cheerleading Judges Association. He is a certified boy's compulsory gymnastics judge and he is safety certified.

	Megan Lueders Recreational and team Coach Megan is 19 and was a level 10 competitive gymnast for HITS. This is her 4th year as a coach at Hawaiian Island Twisters. She is a member of the Honolulu, HI Sacred Hearts Academy graduating class of 2007. She is continuing her gymnastics career as a NCAA gymnast at California State University Sacramento as a Hornet. She is a USAG Jr. Professional member and is safety certified.
	David Chavez Recreational Coach
	Cari Cast Recreational Coach Cari has been with HITS almost two years and has been coaching since she was 15. She has coached at gyms in Montana and California. Also at GymKats and Browns, both in Las Vegas, NV. She is a USAG professional member and has her USAG KAT. (Kinder Accreditation Teaching certificate) Cari is also safety certified.
